About this project


Marshes Proactive Accounting, based in Cambridge approached us to help them with a rebrand project. They were an established business but felt that their branding was out of date and old-fashioned, which wasn’t representative of their modern, proactive and friendly approach.

We worked through various different concepts and iterations before agreeing on the final logo. The silver ‘pillar’ represents the support and structure they give to their clients and the surrounding business community, with the arms of the M surrounding this and reinforcing the supportive and all encompassing values of the business. The colours and the fonts chosen convey professionalism, integrity and an exceptional level of service.


Design for print

Business cards and letterheads were designed and printed, together with email footers and branded promotional materials.


Sub brands

We were then asked to create a set of sub brands to represent their three different levels of service. These sit as a family of sub brands under the umbrella of the main brand so need to compliment that and be recognisable but individual in their own right.


Brand guidelines

A set of brand guidelines was created to ensure the consistency of the new branding across all platforms. These included colour breakdowns, font recommendations and usage of the sub brands. Consistency increases brand awareness, and creates trust and loyalty.
